Description
If you are making travel plans and have recently tested positive for COVID-19, you might require a Certificate of Recovery to travel.
COVID-19 PCR tests can produce a positive result for up to 90 days after an initial positive result so if it has been 5 full days since your positive result and you are no longer symptomatic, we can issue you with a Certificate of Recovery that can allow you to resume your intended travel plans without unwanted difficulties.
To obtain a certificate you will require to submit to us the following information:
- A copy of your ID document (passport)
- A copy of your positive COVID-19 PCR or supervised antigen test (your PCR or supervised antigen test must be no older than 90 days from the date of departure. Antigen tests must have been supervised by an accredited laboratory. Please note that a supervised antigen test may not be sufficient proof of a positive test for your destination – please consult the guidelines of your destination country.)
- We can accept notifications from the NHS (SMS & email) provided your name, date of birth, and test date are clearly visible.
In addition, you will be required to fill in a patient details form and make a declaration of fitness of travel. A secure link for this process will be sent to you a few minutes after making your booking.
Certificates are delivered by email in PDF format and include a QR authenticity code.
Processing time: Within 12 hours of all information being uploaded through the secure link (please note: processing of recovery certificates is only undertaken during testing centre operating hours, 8:30am-6:00pm daily).
